1975 BACKGAMMON Board Game by Selchow and Righter

This auction is for the 1975 BACKGAMMON Board Game by Selchow and Righter, makers of Scrabble. Backgammon is an ancient board game, played by generation after generation. The object is to move all your playing markers home and off the board before your opponent does. This is a Selchow & Righter version of this classic game for 2 players. Fast action fun.

The game is complete and comes with the playing board, 30 wooden playing pieces (15 white, 15 red), 1 pair of red wooden dice, 1 pair white wooden dice, 1 wooden doubling cube and 2 dice shaker cups. The instructions are printed underneath the box cover. The game is in very nice shape, the contents are in very good shape. The box has no torn corners and just normal signs of wear.

Would make a wonderful set for anyone who enjoys backgammon. Would make a great Christmas present. Auction has low starting bid and no reserve. High bidder will win the game.
