IMPORTANT NOTICE: Packages being shipped to China will be sent Express Mail only due to the many packages that have not been delivered, and excessive claims. Normal shipping outside the US is Priority Mail – yes, it is expensive. If you want me to use 1st Class Mail, I will consider it only for low value items. Insurance will still apply – I obtain it from another source for the same price the US Postal Service charges. First Class mail is slower than Priority Mail. I do not want to hear from any international buyer that his or her package has not arrived until at least two weeks after the auction. It can take 3-4 weeks for 1st Class Mail.
Refund Policy: Items that are not as described will result in a refund of the bid amount upon return of the item in the condition in which it was shipped.This does not apply to finding a small scratch when the description says minor surface wear or similar issues.If a package is damaged in transit, and if it was insured, the buyer must cooperate in filing the insurance claim (not a big deal).The box and packing material must be kept and available for the post office if an item is insured and damaged in transit.If an issue is not addressed in the description (I attempt to provide comprehensive descriptions) or if the bidder doesn’t understand the description and he or she did not ask a question about it, no refund will be made. Note: if the Post Office damages an item and still delivers it, it will refund only the bid amount and not the postage.I will not make up the difference.

I do my best to pack things well, and if a Post Office employee decides to use your package to keep his or her truck from rolling down a hill, don't ask me for a refund. Buy insurance. I realize that purchasing insurance adds to the cost, and I give you the choice. If you choose to not insure the package, you are retaining the risk of loss or damage. The vast majority of items arrive in the same condition in which they were sent.
International packages generally require insurance unless they have a relatively low value. For some reason, our Post Office believes it is reasonable to increase the mailing charge by 50 - 100% if someone wants to insure a package.
