This is the classic 1963 version of Parker Brothers classic detective board game CLUE, the gold box version. Everyone tries to solve the murder mystery by accurately determining who the killer is, what weapon was used and in what room the killing was done. The successful player arrives at the answer by eliminating suspects, weapons and rooms by questioning his fellow detectives. This game has entertained children and adults alike for decades. Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Scarlet and Professor Plum have become common place names due to this game. Fun for the whole family.
The game is complete and contains the playing board, 6 wooden playing pieces, 6 weapons, a complete deck of clue cards, 1 die, 1 Solution envelope, set of detective note pads, 1 advertisement card and set of rules. The playing board and the game pieces are in very good condition. The game board has no tears or warping. The cards are sharp edged and clean. The box is in good shape, no torn corners and just normal signs of wear.
This would be a nice addition for someone who collects vintage board games or played this game as a child. Would make a nice gift as well for game collector. Would make a great Christmas present.
