This volume, a companion to Time Burial, is divided into two parts.The first part consists of previously uncollected published stories. With the exception of the title story, few of these works have ever been reprinted. The second section of unpublished material includes unplaced stories and later experimental pieces which were written after Wandrei's professional career was over. In addition editor D.H.Olson provides a preface and introductory notes to each section, and a gallery of Howard Wandrei's artwork, most of it published here for the first time rounds out the volume.
