Thanks for looking at our auction. With the Hope Chest Inc. you will get your tie shipped to you in a box, protected by a plastic bag; and you will get it FAST. We offer only priority shipping, and most items are shipped the same day that your payment is submitted; if you view our feedback, you will find that most of our customers comment on our excellent shipping and great communication. All of our used ties are thouroughly checked for flaws, however, unless listed in mint condition, may contain a few minor marks; they are used after all. Condition Guide:
NWT: New item with the tags still attached. This includes items donated by our corporate donors, such as retail stores merchandise. Some of these items may be return items or clearance items. This could also include items that were donated by people who received them as gifts, but never actually wore them or removed the tags; meaning they are still new.
NWOT: New without tags. Generally these are items that either our corporate donors provide, which have been returned to the store without the tags attached, but were never worn or laundered. This can also cover donors who purchased items or received them as gifts, yet never wore them. Mint Condition: This is items that have been worn a couple of times, have no flaws or signs of wear, but are no longer new. Excellent condition: These items may show wear. This is a general term used for a typical used item. Good Condition: This is a used item that will contain a flaw, but can either be repaired or retains value. Flawed: This is an item that has a serious flaw that will either need to be repaired or will be used for salvage; example would be for use of buttons, or other parts of the item that would seem both useful or valuable. It would be a very rare situation that we would list something in this condition.
I no longer offer international shipping. Until PayPal and eBay change their policies on international shipping, it is simply too expensive and cumbersome to make it worth while, so please do not ask for international shipping. Thank you.

We only ship USPS priority mail, and you will receive your item in a BOX for its protection. Please see our feedback for the positive responses to our quick shipping and excellent packing.
Payments are to be made within five days of the end of the auction. If you should run into a problem with this, please contact me before the end of the five day period in order to make payment arrangements. Unpaid items will be re-listed on the seventh day after the auction ends. Once an auction is re-listed, it will no longer be available for late payment. Please bear in mind that this is a business, and when you do your job, you expect to be paid as well. If you place a bid, honor that bid. Thank you.

Domestic: all domestic shipping (US) will be priority mail, in a box. You will receive emails from me when processed, as well as an email with a tracking number. Please make any special requests as an attached note to your paypal payment. My listing company (Auctiva) sells insurance on all of my items, and it is strongly recommended that you purchase insurance. I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items.
Please remember that communication is the key to good eBay transactions, and I am very good about answering my mail. The time to ask questions is before the auction ends, but need to hear from you if you have a problem.
Most of the items that I offer are used items, and will not include flaws unless stated in the auction description. Please read the description, view the pictures, and ask questions where necessary. Used items, and many times new items, have been in storage for some time, and will need to be laundered before wearing them. I know, who wears used clothing without laundering it... you would be surprised. All of us have items that we received as gifts, and are sitting in the closet right now that have not been worn. If an item is NWT, it still may need laundering, unless it is stated in the auction that it was recently purchased. Used items are described to the best of my ability, and again, I consider myself to be a very honest eBayer. Please realize that my interpretation might be different than yours, and emailing questions is the best way to clear up any problems over condition of clothing. Please note that I do not offer refunds on any of my items, though should I decide to alter this policy, all items must be returned in their original condition; nwt items must have tags attached, unaltered, etc. Any item is subject to a twenty percent restocking fee, as eBay has become a place where too many people feel that they can use it to try on designer clothing, and return it at my expense. Neiman Marcus can afford to shoulder that kind of expense, a small business cannot. Thank you for your understanding.
