Black Ops Patch: If I Tell You I Have to Kill You VX-4

This auction is for a new fully embroidered patch in mint condition. This patch has a gummed back for ironing on. It can also be sewn on. It measures 3 1/2 inches up and down and 3 1/8 inches across.

This is a very difficult item to get a good picture of, because it is so dark. Obviously, a patch for Black Ops should be hard to see. I have shown the front and back here.

On the front, the patch is completely black with a circle in the middle with nothing in it. In raised letters (also black), it says at the top "If I Tell You" and at the bottom "I Have To Kill You." 

Whether for a collection or to actually wear, this patch is sure to attract attention.

This patch is pictured on page 60 of the recent book by Trevor Paglen entitled "I Could Tell You But Then You Would Have To Be Destroyed By Me," which depicts and discusses various patches actually worn by members of the Black Operations community. He writes that this is a "generic patch for 'black' projects designed by a member of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Four (VX-4), based at Point Magu nearl Camarillo, California."
