Gorgeous, Original 1889 Georgia color map.  This is an ORIGINAL...NOT A REPRINT... 119 + year-old undated atlas map...The total size of the entire map measures   10 3/4 " x 14 1/2" with the borders... The map includes area and population; it shows towns and cities, railroads, rivers, and other Geographic features, etc. Great, Historic Item ...

NOTE CONDITION: The map has very lite border wear and a small stain on the lower side border, overall, it is in Nice Condition and will look wonderful matted and framed (These old maps make great gifts)!!!!...

STATE & TERRITORY INDEX: (see scan of Arizona example).

Each of these maps had a separate index. The index listed the state population and counties with their respective populations, based on estimated 1885 population. It also listed many of the major and minor towns with respective populations for many of them.

These are larger sized pages … the same size as the map. If the buyer would like for me to make copies of the original index,

I will do that for $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each page after that. Since the pages are larger, I will have to do this at a printing shop.

The number of pages depends on the state. Ie., Indian Territory, Idaho and Wyoming are all less than one page; about 400-500 towns, counties, etc. are listed for each. Pennsylvania includes about 8 pages of index; probably 8000 or so listings, etc. Most are 1-2 pages.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE INDEX: Please email me before paying and I will let you know how many pages you need to pay for.

Please be aware that some packages going into Canada, the UK and France are taking a very long time for delivery...2-or More weeks in some cases. Although I mail them as quickly as I can...I have no control over how long it takes for them to be delivered after I mail them...Also, These old maps are shipped in sturdy mailing tubes and are very, very rarely lost... However, I send these via first class airmail trying to save international buyers shipping costs and, unless the international buyer is willing to spend a much higher rate to have it mailed International Priority rate ($20.00 for maps..$15.00 for ads.)... I can't be responsible if by rare chance one of these tubes are lost... PLEASE be aware of that fact and don't bid unless you agree to these terms.
