"It's A Banner Day, Congratulations" Porcelain Figurine #795259 is from the Special Wishes Collection.  Precious Memories creator Sam Butcher began drawing the endearing teardrop-eye children he called "Precious Moments" as a gift for family and friends.  That was more than a quarter of a century ago, and today, his Precious Moments art work is among the most recognized art in the world.  These items are cast with porcelain bisque materials, hand assembled, fired, hand-painted, then refired.  Each has been hand-painted in pleasant pastels that makes it a wonderful gift for another or a delightful collectible for yourself that is sure to be treasured for years to come.  Whether for the birth of a child, wedding, anniversary or any other occasion, the Precious Moments products are a gift of thought and love.  This piece is finished in pink, blue, white, green, and yellow (see first and second images).  The base is stamped with the Precious Moments by Enesco logo, "It's A Banner Day, Congratulations" and "2000 Precious Moments Inc. Licensee Enesco Group, Inc. 795259" and is impressed with the "Cracked Egg" 2000 Production Mark symbolizing the new millennium and new beginnings (see third image).  This item is 5 1/4" high, weighs 1 lb. unboxed, and is brand new in its original box (see second image) with all of its paperwork.  There are no cracks, chips, crazing, damages or repairs of any kind.  It has never been displayed, is stored and shipped from a smoke-free and pet-free environment, and is valued at $25.00.  This piece is no longer in production.
