This model boat is made with plank on frame construction. This is the painstaking process where each strip of wood is applied to the hull one at a time.

ALL Hull and deck is made of timber, then finish painted.....NOT PLASTIC !

Please be aware that model despatches as shown in last photo below - with masts lowered. Erecting mast is very easy and there are no knots to tie, with allrigging nicely slipknotted & tied off already.

Model was unpacked immediately piror to photos, hence the wrinkling in the sails. This will easily remove either by handling, or simply in a short time left standing.

Sail material is very high quality, well stitched, and has metal rod cross-ribbing in parts.

Model has many moving parts :

• Opening/closing tinted perspex hatch & deck windows
• Tinted perspex opening door
• Drop down duck board ladder
• Opening/closing Bimini

Model is very well packed however is oversize for Aus post. It will therefore need be sent by couriers.

Unfortunately we are unable to insure the delivery process when we use Star Track Express...well...we can pay for insurance, but having them honour such is like trying to bleed a stone.

Not anticipating any problems given the very sound packaging.

Please be aware that in instances where customers live in remote Australian regions additional postage charges may be applicable. ( as an example I have been quoted by both Aus post & star track express well over $200 to send to one destination in NT.....though not all NT postcodes ).
