Rex Allen, the last of the big screen's singing cowboys, stars as Dr. Bill Baxter, a doctor in the town of Rising Springs, Arizona, during the early 1900's in Frontier Doctor. A well-known singer, song-writer and radio star, Allen made his first movie, The Arizona Cowboy in 1950. Rex went on to appear in more than 30 Westerns, including Under Mexicali Stars, Thunder in God's Country and The Old Overland Trail. Allen personified the clean cut, American hero ofthe wild-west, who wore a white Stetson and loved his faithful horse Koko, billed as "The Wonder Horse." Frontier Doctor 2 DVD set boasts 10 episodes and four hours of great programming from 1958-59.
