WE THINK THE COUPLE ON THE GOLD CENTER CARTOUCHE IS AN IMAGE OF THE STAR CROSSED LOVERS ROMEO AND JULIET but it could be columbus and Isabelle. THIS PART OF THE PENDANT IS 18KGOLD.  THE REST OF THE PENDANT (I CALL IT THE CAGE) IS SOLID SILVER -CONTENT 925.  THE CAGE MEASURES 11/8 INCHES WITHOUT THE STONES.  THE OVERALL HEIGHT WITH THE CLASP IS 2 INCHES THE STONES IN THE PIECE ARE BLACK ONYX AND CORAL.THE GOLD IMAGE IS 5/8 X 7/8 INCHES. THE TOP HAS AN INTERESTING HINGE TYPE CLOSURE WHICH OPENS AND ALLOWS YOU TO EASILY HANG THE PENDANT ON ANY CHAIN THAT YOU ARE WEARING. THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF JEWELRY IS VERY CLEAN AND HAS BEEN LOVINGLY CARED FOR. IT WAS MADE IN ITALY AND THE BACK IS STAMPED 18K GOLD AND .925 SILVER. I HAD IT CHECKED AT MY JEWELERS TO MAKE SURE IT IS AS IT STATES AND HE CONFIRMED THAT IT IS. WITH THE PRICE OF PRECIOUS METALS SUCH AS SILVER AND GOLD,THIS WOULD BE A BARGAIN.
