Up for auction is this vintage 3 Piece Lisk Roaster for your Chambers Stove. These are the finest quality roasters tested and approved by Chambers. These roasters are self-basting as they have a concave lid, so as the natural juices of the roast vaporize and rise to the lid, they condense there and follow depressions to the center and fall in a shower upon the roast. The inner tray is a distinctive Lisk Roaster feature. There is an air chamber between the tray and the roaster base, which prevents scorching of the bottom of the roast. When the roast is done, the juices are in the tray ready to make gravy. There is also a damper/vent on the lid for complete moisture control. Lisk made these roasters in 5 different sizes. This is a #3 size roaster and it is 19 ½ inches from handle to handle and 12 ½ inches in width. It is 8 ¼ inches in height with the lid on, with the base being about 4 ½ inches in height, so it is a nice large size. This roaster has been used and shows a little wear. There are a few spots of wear to the enamel, but overall it is in very nice condition. Perfect for those big family dinners! Shipping includes insurance!
