- Peter Schladermundt
In 1958, a patent was issued to Peter Schladermundt and William H. Dennerlein for their invention of the Vinyl Band-Aid. The Vinyl Band-Aid was a revolution in surgical dressings. It was the first machine-made, sterilized dressing to be constructed of vinyl tape. The Vinyl Band-Aid was originally manufactured by Johnson & Johnson Company in 1958.
This is a museum-quality patent reproduction; obtained directly from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
The drawing and specification sheet(s) are printed onto premium, acid-free, lignin-free parchment paper; which reproduces the authentic look and feel of the original document.
This listing also includes a lithographic art print. The print (as depicted above) is sized and ready to frame.
