This auction is for a lot of three vintage hardback books pertaining to the game of Chess.  All are in good to very good condition for age.  Previous owner name and information printed inside of two.  Contents of this lot as follows:

  1. The Game of Chess.  A popular and scientific introduction to the game based upon "The Chess-Player's Handbook," by Howard Stunton.  
  2. Modern Chess by Barnie Winkelman.  An introduction to the Art of Chess as Played by the Modern Chess Master.  Revised 1935.
  3. Chess by Kenneth M. Grover and Thomas Wiswell.  Copyright 1941, sixth printing 1946.
