SCHOOLLAND.  THE 1949 HARDCOVER IS IN GOOD PLUS CONDITION.  IT HAS 237 PAGES.  IT IS THE STORY OF DUTCH IMMIGRANTS SETTLING IN MICHIGAN IN THE 1940'S.  "IT IS THE HISTORY OF THEIR SOWING, OF THEIR LABOR AND SUFFERING, THEIR IDEALS AND THEIR FAITH, THAT HAS INSPIRED THE STORY WHICH FOLLOWS IN THIS BOOK.  MANY OF THE PEOPLE WHO WALK ITS PAGES ARE FICTITIOUS, BUT VAN RAALTE, BRUMMELKAMP, THE AMERICANS WHO SO NOBLY AIDED THE COLONISTS, AND OTHERS WERE MEN WHO GRAPPLED WITH THE PROBLEMS OF A HUNDRED YEARS AGO AND HELPED MAKE THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY.
