To build this model ship, extensive research was done using various sources such as museums, drawings, copies of original plans and photos of the actual yacht.
The three-masted Bark Belem, the last survivor of the great French fleet of full-rigged ships, Cape-Horners and West Indiamen, was built in Nantes as a merchant ship in 1896.

Australia Wide Postage is fixed at $50 via to door courier service ( which unfortunately i cannot insure ). THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE REMOTE DESTINATION, NT, WA & TAS - WHICH WILL REQUIRE EXACT QUOTES BASED ON POSTCODE, CONFIRMED VIA EMAIL BEFORE ACTUAL SALE OF ITEM No PO boxes & we require a delivery address that WILL AHEV SOMEONE AVAILABLE MOST WORKING HOURS TO RECEIVE & SIGN FOR GOODS - otherwise back to depot with no second delivery, or, sometimes they return to us, then customer would need to prepay for a second delivery. Sorry about that but we have been stung TOO MANY times when we auto delivered second, and third times...all at our expense. We will happily use you prepaid & pre-organised courier PROVIDING we do not need to have staff on standby for 3 days for "possible" pick up - ie , we need exacts from either customer or courier service regarding such. No postage charge if customer organises such, and pays prior. For reference parcel is 89cms x 60cms x 31cms, weighing approx 8 kgs.
