GORHAM OLDER SUPER FINE CHAMPAGNE / WINE BUCKET - Rondo Swirl Pattern made to go with CHANTILLY, STRASBOURGH, BARONIAL SETs

In this listing we have:

A single huge heavy SILVER CHAMPAGNE BUCKET / WINE COOLER that feels / looks like it could be sterling - Older Heavy Thick Gorham Silverplate.   This is a very high end older item. Not at all like the ones retailed today. Has the old Gorham Anchor hallmarks underneath.

Made in the elegant ever popular RONDO pattern.  Marked as shown with hallmarks (Gorham's -- YC code 2031) Though used, it is in really beautiful condition with minimal scratches, no dents, no dings, no undermetal bleeding etc. Never personalized with a monogram nor any other inscription. The impressive bucket measures about 11" tall, slender and most elegant, graceful detailed handles on the sides. The superb beautiful bucket just exudes quality and it has such a great shape.

This is real show piece! Estate used condition.  Old Gorham Silver! Heavy older pattern that was hand crafted - not like the ones made today. Retails (if found) at an antique or flatware replacement service for over $650 ! This is a must have piece for the true serious Gorham collector.

This is an heirloom quality collection item --- Collector's items, yet eminently appropriate for contemporary use.

Parents were serious about entertaining in a way I am not. My family invested in quality items for gracious living.

CONDITION:  The children were not allowed to touch this and it shows, very good overall with typical minimal use marks etc. considering suspected age! Review picture (please ignore reflections) and see for yourself.

Please review picture(s) for condition etc. Not new, but Used Good Estate Condition with expected use on treasured old items. No Monograms or Removals not noted -  Some hand washing/polishing needed! Vintage heirloom quality, these were used for 30+ years for entertaining, as the items were acquired post World War II. This is an outstanding, truly versatile, group/set of good weight/heft, elegant pattern. Bid based on info above, but know these were from a very good collection of very fine household goods that were well taken care of.

No major flaws or damages not mentioned, expect general marks, spots, scratches, wear and patina commensurate with age and use of treasured serverware/flatware used for special meals/holidays.  All this has been stored away in the box for many years and a simple cleaning/polishing will make it look even more elegant on your table.  Most or all hosts would feel quite comfortable using this when entertaining the most special guests in your home.
