This record album is the 1959 VERVE label release of HAVE TRUMPET WILL EXCITE by jazz trumpet player extraordinaire.....DIZZY GILLESPIE. This LP has the VINYL STILL SEALED IN THE VERVE PLASTIC INNER BAG. The jacket, while not sealed is in excellent+ condition, with a clean 3" seam split on the top. The bottom edge of the jacket has some light wear but overall the jacket is in excellent+ condition. The personnel on the LP is: DIZZY, JUNIOR MANCE ON PIANO, LES SPANN ON FLUTE AND GUITAR, SAM JONES ON BASS, AND LEX HUMPHRIES ON DRUMS. The group plays: MY HEART BELONGS TO DADDY, MY MAN , MOONGLOW, ST. LOUIS BLUES, WOODY'N YOU, WRAP YOUR TROUBLES IN DREAMS, THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE, AND I FOUND A MILLION DOLLAR BABY IN THE FIVE AND TEN CENT STORE. This LP is VERVE MGV-8313.
Again, the vinyl is in still sealed in the inner bag condition. This is quite a find for any jazz trumpet LP collection.
