The Hanukkah  “Gingie” Bread Man  Story

 Once there was a “Gingie” Bread man,
Basking at 275F in his baking pan.
Dressed for Chanukah from head to talit
Brown as a latke, looking ready too eat
A “Gingie” Bread Man who’s really a pin!

Here’s the old lady who made him so sweet,
A Hanukkah  pin, it was no easy feat,
She made him with love from polymer clay,
And whipped up a bunch on Thanksgiving Day.
A  “Gingie” Bread Man who’s really a pin!

Now open the oven to see if he’s done,
This “Gingie” Bread Man, he knows how to run.
Out of the oven and onto the floor,
Now run away out the kitchen door.
The “Gingie” Bread Man who’s really a pin!

 
 Along came an eBayer who wanted a treat,
And “Gingie” Bread Man looked like a cookie to eat.
I’ll bid on you, my gingerbread pet,
And I’ll keep trying, until I win the bet.
“Mr. Gingie”, who’s really a pin!

There was no place to go, there was no place to run
And shipping on eBay would be lots of fun!
So off to the buyer did “Gingie” bread man go
And what happened next, you already know
To the "Gingie" Bread Man, who’s really a pin.

Positive feedback came rolling in
“More ‘Gingies’ please, I need a pin!”
Not a one was left from Thanksgiving Day,
So the old lady kept making  “Gingies” out of clay.
This  “Gingie” Bread Man who is really a pin!

One day when she got out her pan
To make her buyers another  “Gingie” Bread Man!
She thought and thought and made a plan
“Next year at Passover, I’ll make a Matzoh man!”
