I doubt if any frame in the Western World was worn by more people than this one during the late 70's and early 80's.  This frame opened the world of color to eyewear and became a real hallmark.

We have just found probably the biggest remaining stash of original Opticolors on the planet. These come in their original jackets from the manufacturer.

We have 14 regular colors and three in neon so far, with a few more possibly coming. Many of these were minor colors released at the height of this designs popularity.

We have spent a third of a century in ophthalmic optics, and we love vintage and antique eyewear. We spend many hours restoring the eyewear you see on our auctions. We have many parts that are long discontinued, and we have some parts made for us. We machine and hand polish these frames, completely disassemble them, inspect them, tune them, etc... We discuss them, we bring them to the dinner table. We show them to strangers. We wake the dog up and ask her if a frame has the right luster.
We use high power magnifiers for frame inspection and we take very detailed photos so you can see a frame as though you were holding it.
