This is a Large, Heavy Porcelain Mug or Stein commemorating a Third Place Win in the "SVC Fall Series, 1969." It is hand painted by Bob Williams in Mount Vernon, WA and I believe the SVC refers to Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, WA. It stands 5" tall and measures 3-1/8" across the top. The base measures 3-3/4" in diameter. On one side is a Gold Sail Boat with the letters"CL" superimposed on one sail and "3rd" painted in red. On the other side, in red are the words, "SVC Fall Series 1969. Impressed near the handle is 8.5 l. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or discolorations. The red color is bright and unfaded and the gold is intact. The stamped information on the bottom indicates this piece was hand painted by Bob Williams in Mount Vernon, WA. In addition, there is an impressed oval containing the letter "M, a line and the letter R below the line."
