This is a brand new Micro-Trains Line (MTL) "N" Scale 40' Standard Boxcar with Single Door in the New Haven paint scheme. The car number is NH 36833 (Item #20556). This model is ready-to-run. Pressed Steel Car Company built this box car in September 1941. This paint scheme was applied in March 1956 when the car was serviced at the railroad's Readville shop. This is one of only a few New Haven cars that received the oversized "N over H herald. The 120,000 lb capacity box car was equipped with Bettendorf trucks. The NYNH&H was the product of the 1872 consolidation of the New York and New Haven and the New Haven and Hartford Railroads. A great addition for any "N" scale enthusiast, and makes a wonderful gift!
