ABOUT THE DRAWING
This drawing is a charcoal of a female nude. The dimensions are 12" x 21". It is signed by the artist, "L Pike".

The paper is acid free natural white heavyweight (80 lb.) Strathmore.

The drawing is spayed with fixative to prevent smudging.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
The figure drawings are usually dynamic, capturing a sense of the body's movement and weight. Multiple positions often appear in one drawing. The movement is inspired by my background in dance. I am interested in a moment between abstraction and realism, where the space of the page can enter the form. The viewer can participate in the drawing by completing the picture with his or her own eye.

Please take a look at LesliePike . com for more info.
