Description:
Voigtlander Vitessa L Outfit – 2/50 Ultron
· I couldn’t believe this great outfit was still at an estate sale the 2nd day. A friend of mine told me he saw a Voigtländer camera there with a fairly high price. Voigtländer made some so-so cameras, but this is one of the greats.
· Beautiful Barn Door Vitessa 35mm Range Finder Camera.
· Circa 1954 - 56
· Based on the sunny 16 rule for approximating exposure, the meter is right on.
· Voigtlander Ultron 1:2 50mm lens in Synchro Compur shutter.
· Glass looks great inside and out. Please do not ask questions about the glass, this statement covers it.
· Shutter works well. However. When I got it, it was sluggish and/or hung up below 1/30, working fine at B. With exercise it works well.
· There is a screw that connects the shutter release on the shutter with the mechanism attached to the shutter release button on top. I don’t know why it was working, but after firing it a few times while preparing this description, it stopped. The shutter fires fine, but the connection between the two mechanisms disappeared. There is a screw in the hole of the internal part, and it aligns with the hole seen in the photographs in the shutter release on the shutter. I took the screw out to see if it would work by screwing it through the front hole, it doesn’t. I put it back, and the shutter release lever keeps it in place. A small bolt and nut will solve the problem.
· Cosmetically the camera shows almost no use. There are a few light specks on the leather covering. About five minor dots of black ink will make it look perfect. (we can say five tiny dots of black ink made it look near perfect). No dings, dents or scratches.
· Range Finder is bright, clear, has excellent contrast and is perfectly aligned.
· The small leather case hold a lens hood and two filters: yellow 133/22 G2 and 133/29 UV. All in excellent condition.
· The large Case is a flash unit designed for use with Vitessa Cameras. The reflector shows some age. I don’t have a no. 412 battery with which to test it. There is no retaining screw with it.
· The box show wear and has two separated corners.
· As you can see, all leather cases are in excellent condition.

Notice to all Bidders:
There may be charges collected by the shipping/delivery company when you receive or pick an item up. Don't confuse them with more shipping charges.

Please ask questions before bidding.
I am happy to combine shipping.
SHIPPING: Shipping in the Contiguous 48 states with delivery confirmation is $12.95 insured. Shipping may reflect a handling charge.
International shipments: ASK ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES OUTSIDE THE U.S.A. Packages sent outside the USA will be insured where possible and the shipping charge will reflect the US Post Office charge.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Packages being shipped to China will be sent Express Mail only due to the many packages that have not been delivered, and excessive claims.
- Shipping to any country where US Post Office insurance is not available will be shipped via Express Mail
- Normal shipping outside the US is Priority Mail
Refund Policy: Items that are not as described will result in a refund of the bid amount upon return of the item in the condition in which it was shipped. This does not apply to finding a small scratch when the description says minor surface wear or similar issues. If a package is damaged in transit, and if it was insured, the buyer must cooperate in filing the insurance claim (not a big deal). The box and packing material must be kept and available for the post office if an item is insured and damaged in transit. If an issue is not addressed in the description (I attempt to provide comprehensive descriptions) or if the bidder doesn’t understand the description and he or she did not ask a question about it, no refund will be made. Note: if the Post Office damages an item and still delivers it, it will refund only the bid amount and not the postage. I will not make up the difference.
