This auction is for a set of tongs.
They are used for carrying blocks of ice, wooden logs, and bales of hay.
The handles are made in such a way so that it take to people to carry the item with the tongs.
They are antique/vintage. I do not know the exact age of them.
They were made by the Hubbard Company.
They are made of metal.
They are being listed as used since they are an antique and have been obviously pre-owned.
Due to their age and use there is wear and tear to the item. There is rust, scraps, scratches, pitting and such to the item.
They measure 42 1/4" by 23" by 2 1/4".
It is being sold AS-IS with NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS.
DO TO THE SIZE OF THIS ITEM I WILL NOT BE COMBINING SHIPPING ON THIS ITEM!!!!
There is a $5.00 handling fee on this item to help cover the cost of insurance and packaging materials.
The handling fee is included in the quoted shipping price.

MY TERMS As of Oct. 6, 2009
Due to the age and value of these items I am adding a handling fee to all my items. The fee will be stated in the begining of the listing description section. It will be between $5.00 and $10.00.
I normally combine shipping on my items but I do not when it is something delicate that I think can be damaged by being packaged with something else. I will specify it in my listing.
With the up coming holiday season and the changes withing the postal service and its downsizing I will be going to the post office on Mondays and Fridays only!!!! I also only use the methods of shipping that are stated in this listing so please do not ask for me to ship it another way after you have won the bid or bought the item.
I ask all buyers to please look carefully at all the pictures and feel free to ask anyquestions before bidding. I will reply to them as soon as I can. I also ask that you please read my entire listing before bidding so that there is no confusion or misunderstandings. I try to take pictures as best as I can within the limitations of the camera that I have at the moment. I also try to list the item as completely and with as much information that I have on the item.
I want to also update my shipping terms. The post office here in the States has once again raised the price of shipping fees. So please bare this in mind when looking at the shipping rates and when rating my shipping rates in DSR's. All custom or duty fees are due and payable buy the buyer to the shipping agent upon delivery or pick up of the item. I do not know what these fees will be from country to country so it is up to all buyers to check on that before bidding. These fees are the buyers responsibility to pay.
I do give feedback but only after I have received feedback from the buyers. So please take a moment once you have received your item to look it over and leave some feedback. That one moment of your time is greatly appreciated.
