"Giant Bull's Eye"
The Original Manufacturer's Name was "Bellaire No. 151, U.S. Glass No. 157. It is Also Known As: Bull's Eye and Spearhead, Bull's Eye Variation, Concave Circle, and Excelsior.
This pretty little bottle stands 6.5" tall with the original stopper in place, 5" to the top of the collar - it will hold 6 ounces - either an oil/vinegar cruet or a Cologne bottle. There are 6 panels of 3 concave circles each measuring 1.25" in diameter. The bottom is 2.5" across with a rough pontil mark.
condition: Very Good -
- there are several bubbles in the glass, some minor mold imperfections, a couple of nicks, roughness around the inside rim from the stopper, a tiny bruise on the outer rim (photo #5), and a very slight amethyst hue to the glass - a light "sun purple" - depending on the light.
