Retro 40's FAB Russian Amethyst 10k yg ladies ring Wow!

Wow!!!!  What a fabulous old stone .  The color is hard to describe.  Deep, bright magnificent purple.  This is a genuine Russian amethyst of the best color you can find in an amethyst.  The size of the stone is 13mm with an estimated weight of 8 carats in a round cut.  The ring is set in solid 10k yellow gold with a retro original mounting from the 40's.  The top of the ring measures 1/2" by 3/4".  The weight is 3.6 grams.  The ring is a size 2.5 on the finger with space under the stone so that it should fit a size 3 pretty easily.  It can be sized up The stone is in very nice condition and has no chips, nicks or cracks.   No damage on the ring.
