Rare!

1904

Following The Guidon

by

Elizabeth Custer

Here is an antiquarian hardcover book that would be a fantastic addition to a collection!

You are bidding on an antiquarian hardcover book titled Following The Guidon. By Elizabeth Custer, wife of the famous Civil War general and Indian fighter, George Armstrong Custer. Book is illustrated with many nice full page illustrations. Published by Harper & Brothers, 1904. This is an early publishing of this book.

Early printing of this famous work of life on the American frontier with her husband and the 7th U.S. Cavalry. Olive-green cloth with gilt titles and decorative red, blue, silver, and gilt guidons on front board. Spine has a few tiny closed tears at top and bottom. Some light fading along edge of boards. Previous owner signature on flyleaf with later feint image of date.

This is a terrific book to add to a collection!

Great gift idea!
