Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is an animated children's television series created by Bob Boyle (who also created Yin Yang Yo!) and his niece Viviana Ogawa when she was nine years old, produced by Bolder Media (a joint-venture between Frederator Studios and the Mixed Media Group) and Film Roman/Starz. It is animated, as are many newer cartoons in the 2000s, using Adobe Flash software. Bob Boyle, Susan Miller and Fred Seibert are the executive producers, and the technical director is David Sandford.
Debuting in the United States on Nick Jr. on August 28, 2006, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is a comedy show for pre-schoolers. On June 9 of that year, Nick Jr. launched the Wow! Wow! Wubbzy website in conjunction with Frederator Studios and Mixed Media Group, released previews of the show online through video podcasting (or, as Bolder Media has dubbed it, The Wubbcast. In addition, the site includes three games (Wubbzy ring toss, for example), recipes like marshmallow lasagna, coloring pages and other fun stuff.
