You are bidding on a lovely hardcover book with original dustjacket titled Romance of the Sea. 312 pages profusely illustrated. Book in new condition. Very large size book.
A very nice tight and clean copy with many illustrations.
Illustrated Throught with Full Color and B/W Photographs, Line Drawings (illustrator). First Edition. Oblong 11"By 14". Navy blue boards the large decorative title to the front in white and likewise to the spine. Printed on heavy calendered stock for superb reproduction of the numerous old photographs and paintings. From the Clipper Ships to The Magnificient Queens to the proud Arab Dhow. A fine cutaway pull out of the Queen Mary and the famous photograph of the Great ships in New York Harbour.
Decorative endpapers.
