Some 15 million years ago a meteorite crashed into the Earth in the area of what is now Austria and Germany.  When it struck the earth, splashes of the molten mineral glass splashed up and traveled hundreds of kilometers to fall back to earth in the south of what is now the Czech Republic in the area of the river called Vltava in Czech or Moldau in German.  It is only found in this area and it is just not known how long the supply will last.  It isn't found in veins or pockets.  It is found by driving long rods into the soil looking for sandy areas, so it is really a hit and miss prospect.

This is a beautiful Moldavite pendant set in Sterling Silver.  It is another original design by Torch Work (T.W.) Designs  I will send it to its new keeper in a pouch for safe keeping or gift giving.

Return Policy I want you to be happy with your purchase.  If for any reason you are not, please contact me within 7 days of receipt and I will issue a Return Authorization Number for the item.  Item must be returned in the same condition it was received.  I will refund your purchase price minus shipping and insurance charges once I have the item in hand.  Return shipping will be your responsibility. Items returned without a Return Authorization Number will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
