This is from the most darling collection of Forest Fairy and animal sculptures ever made. They have been discontinued for about 2 years now. I have this one left.
This forest fairy and her raccoon measures 11 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 9 inches in depth. It weighs almost 7 pounds. It's heavy and feels solid, but it is still breakable.
The statue is colored a deep copper to bronze and is accented with green patina, but is made of resin for use indoors or outdoors.
The fairy is kneeling down right against the raccoon and she hold one of his paws in one of her hands. Her other hand holds a mask on a stick as they laugh at each other about whose not wearing their mask!
The detailing in this sculpture is fabulous! The fairy wears a dress detailed in a flower petal neckline and sleeves with long ribbons hanging from her waist on one side. Her wings are deeply etched and span 9 inches! She is perfect from her bare toes to the top of her head and she has an extremely pretty face! The look of pure joy on her face is unmistakable!
The raccoon seems to smile with her as they play. He is roly-poly with a bushy tail and long fur. He is darling!
In mint condition, this piece is new and never been used.
