This is the fifth book in the series and was written after Ellen MacGregor's death. Although several other authors tried, Dora Pantell was the first to capture Miss Pickerel's unique personality. This adventure combines Ellen MacGregor's characters with plot development by Dora Pantell, and backed, as were the earlier Miss Pickerel stories, with up-to-date scientific concepts.
