This medicine bag was beaded in traditional lazy stitch with traditional designs by an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux from the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. Her name is Phyllis White Bear and she is a Lakota grandmother.This bag is a has the design of the wolf paw. Sumanitu, the wolf, is a strong and wise leader to the Lakota. The bag is made of genuine soft cream deer skin. Genuine glass pony beads, brass beads, horsehair tassles and abalone shell decorate the bag. The bag is size large and measure about 5 inches without fringes. This bag will come with sage from the Pine Ridge reservation of South Dakota. Thank you for supporting the Lakota!
