*BOOK CONDITION DEFINITIONS

AN:  AS NEW; FINE; MINT:  without faults or defects.

NF:  NEAR FINE:  a book approaching FINE but with a couple of very minor defects or faults.

VG:  VERY GOOD:  a book showing some signs of wear.  For Example:  Light spinal reading creases, light edgewear, names or minimal store stamping (including remainder marks), folded pages are some of the possible signs of wear that could be expected.  There may be minor cover creasing such as bumped corners.

G:  GOOD:  The average used book that is totally complete (as issued) and intact. 
For Example:  More moderate spinal reading creases and shelf or edgewear may be present.  Other cover creases may be present.  Spines may be slightly slanted from previous readings.  Names or store stamping/stickering (including remainder marks), folded pages.

F:  FAIR:  a worn book that has complete text pages but may lack endpapers, half-title page, etc. as well as any of the other markings mentioned in the above conditions.

RC:  POOR OR READING COPY:  a book that is sufficiently worn that its only merit is the complete text, which is legible. For Example:  May be soiled, scuffed, stained, or spotted, and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, etc. as well as any of the other markings mentionied in the above conditions.
(WE USUALLY DO NOT SELL COPIES SUCH AS THESE UNLESS THE BOOK IS RARE.)

EX-LIBRARY (EX-LIB):  Always designated.
BOOK CLUB (BC):  Always designated.

(Sometimes a grading of plus or minus is added to books as a way of indicating that the book is a bit better or not but not quite belonging to the next grading level.)

All books unless otherwise specified have been owned previously by someone else.

RETURN POLICY
Books may be returned at the seller's (our) expense if there was an error in the listing.  Books may be returned for any other reason, you pay only the shipping costs.
