These scarves were made in Egypt by widows who, in order
to maintain their dignity and support themselves and their children, handcraft
items for us to buy for resale. When you buy one of their products, you help us
to help them care for their families and for that, we thank you!
• Adult seamstresses make these scarves in
their own homes. They are not made in a factory or a sweatshop, nor is
child labor ever used.
• The scarves are machine stitched around the
edges to prevent fraying, but the rest of the work is done by hand.
• It takes several hours to make one of our
scarves, and we will not undervalue the work put into them in order to compete
with prices for similar items made in the sweatshops of China.
• Please keep in mind that as with all
handcrafted items, minor imperfections are part of their charm and uniqueness.
• Handmade in Egypt, these beautiful belly dance belts / hip scarves come in a
variety of colors and designs. Hand beaded by a professional adult seamstress,
the belts have 2 or 3 rows of beaded fringe in various designs and colors, as
well as a beaded fringe along the bottom edge.
• You will receive ONE scarf in the color of your choice. The designs and
colors of the decorative beading varies, and we make no guarantees about the
style that you will receive. The only guarantee that we make is that you
will receive the scarf color you request.
• Buyers may request a scarf in any of the following colors: black, navy blue,
light blue, red, light pink, yellow, pink, light green, purple.

Items damaged in transit that are covered by insurance will be replaced. Buyer must notify us of damaged goods within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date. Returns are accepted only if the item received is not as represented in the auction description. Items must be returned in the condition received (new & unused), in the ORIGINAL box with ALL original contents within 3 days of confirmed delivery date. Returns will not be accepted without prior notice. We do not reimburse shipping fees.
