This is an antique German porcelain vase by Franz Anton Mehlem, for sale to the high bidder. Please see my other listings for more items from Germany. This beautiful circa 1900 vase has an attractive form and is hand painted with rich yellow, pink, white and blue flowers and leaves with gold gilt trim. It has the mark of Franz Anton Mehlem, that reads Royal Bonn Germany 1753, with a crown and crest mark, and other artist's marks in blue. It measures 6 5/8" high, 5 1/2" at the widest and 2 3/4" across the base. It is in good condition, with no chips, cracks or breaks, some wear and craquelure, and a little wear to the gold gilt.
