This DVD player is unbelievable, it plays everything I have :D It plays my UK PAL DVDs in crystal crisp picture quality. The upconversion works great, my regular DVDs get a HD quality picture with the HDMI cable. I'd say this is by far the best region free dvd player I have owned yet. It beats my old Philips and JVC. 100% recomended |

Truly this is the best multi-region dvd player with 1080p upscaling!!! this unit is perfect to play your DVDs from different countries. it plays them on my non-HD TV and HD TV brilliantly. this has everything i wanted and very simple and easy to use. no need to enter in any code to select region, plays them straight out of the box. |

"AWESOME" I just replaced my Philips DVP642 with the Pioneer DV-400V-K Multi-Region and I couldn't be more amazed with the results. I connected it to my new HD TV using the HDMI cable and the Pioneer solved problem of pixelated picture. I really did some research when looking in to upconvert DVD players. I was all set to go with a Samsung unit, but then I saw this Pioneer player advertised on sale here. This unit has 1080P upscale compared to 1080i from Samsung and it is DivX compatible. And it also has USB input. This unit plays every thing just plain GREAT. I highly recommend this Pioneer DVD player! And its really a bargain for $115 | | |
