A Queen South Africa (QSA) Medal w/ 5 clasps and ribbon

awarded to CIV: CLERK J. CLARK. A.S.C

Ribbon probably original, overall beautiful toning, in mint condition.

Bars: SA 1902, SA 1901, TRANSVAAL, ORANGE FREE STATE, CAPE COLONY

NOTE: Contrary to some affirmations QSA with clasps have been awarded  to civilians, including civilian surgeons. On the other hand it is correct that no QSA with clasps have been awarded to Nurses. The award of clasps to civilians is uncommon, but the award of 5 clasps to non military personnel makes it a very interesting and valuable addition to any collection.

A signed certificate of authenticity as to its originality will be supplied with the medal
