You are bidding on a gorgeous two volume set of hardcover books of the works of William Shakespeare. They are titled The Comedies and The Histories. Published by Easton Press, makers of incredibly beautiful, elegant and highly collectible books. Books were published in 1980. This is a Limited Edition.

The Comedies is illustrated by Edward Ardizzone and The Histories is illustrated by John Farleigh. 

both books are full leather bound by The Easton Press, are a Limited Edition with three raised bands on spine, gilt lettering on spine and gilt cover design, light pink colored moire endpages, 22 karat gold inlay on covers. 

Books are real beauties. All page edges have gilt edge. Also have silk bookmarks.

Very collectible!

No writing in books at all and no signs of previous ownership. Aside from a few minor abrasions to the outer pege gilt edge, books are in near-fine condition.  

Gift quality. Great books!

The same books are selling for $220 each elsewhere!
