This is a very nice 1971-S Faded Peg Leg FS-401 Silver Ike Dollar Variety that is graded as an MS65 and attributed by PCGS, the toughest and most respected grading service in the business.  This Variety is tough to find! It is one of the few CPG Varieties of the Ike Dollar Series.  These 71-S's were handled a lot rougher than the other 40% Silver Ikes and gem grades are a lot tougher to come by. Only 11 of these have been graded higher than MS65.  This Variety is featured on page 361 of the Cherry Picker's Guide.  This would make a great addition to any high-end Ike Registry Set!
