""I will Try to explain. If you look at the top part of the threader which moves up and down it has a pin inside which has micro V shape cut in it to trap the thread/ It has two slots, one goes all the way towards the sides and you can see the joint of the threader with a very small triangle on both side.This slot is not for the thread to keep now, on the other slot, it finishes immediately on the side of the part,  this is the place to keep the thread across  and then put the first slot and press needle threader  against the hole of the needle of the sewing machine,  while you are pressing very slowly move it up and down while pressing so that the hole of the needle is aligned, while doing so as soon as the hole of the needle is aligned very thin pin will come out trap the thread and will take the thread into the whole ,(remember very gentle pressure is maintained while you are moving threader very little up and down ).The pin has a v shape cut in it which traps the thread in it and takes it along into the hole of the needle. Try it without needle and you will see the pin coming out keep you finger away from it so that you do not injure your finger. Try it 2/3 time you will be OK.
