This is an auction for a Very Rare Offering. It is for (2) LOUIS XV STYLED WALNUT MARBLE TOP END TABLES THAT WERE PURCHASED AT THE 1988 AUCTION BY HART GALLERIES OF THE PERSONAL ITEMS OF NELLIE AND JOHN CONNALLY. JOHN CONNALLY WAS THE FORMER GOVERNOR OF TEXAS AND WAS SHOT ALONG WITH J.F. KENNEDY IN DALLAS. THESE TABLES ARE UNBELIEVEABLE!! THEY ARE MADE OF GORGEOUS WALNUT WITH BLACK MARBLE TOPS. EACH TABLE HAS WONDERFUL GOLD GILT METAL DECORATIONS ON EVERY SIDE AND LEGS.
 
THESE TABLES WERE PURCHASED AT A RECENT BOERNE, TEXAS ESTATE AUCTION. THERE WERE SEVERAL ITEMS OFFERED FOR SALE AT THIS ESTATE AUCTION THAT WERE PURCHASED AT THE 1988 JOHN CONNALLY AUCTION.
 
I WILL ALSO BE LISTING A GORGEOUS CUSTOM MADE SOUTH AMERICAN RECTANGULAR FIGURED HARDWOOD COCKTAIL TABLE THAT WAS ALSO PURCHASED AT THE CONNALLY AUCTION. THE COCKTAIL TABLE INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL PERSONAL THANK YOU LETTER FROM THE 1988 AUCTION THAT IS SIGNED BY THE CONNALLY'S.
 
THE TABLES MEASURE 29" TALL AND 21" IN DIAMETER. THEY ARE IN EXCELLENT, BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. LOOKING THEM OVER CAREFULLY, I CAN ONLY SEE A COUPLE OF TINY NICKS IN ONE OF THEM THAT ARE VERY MINOR. THE MARBLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION ALSO, JUST SOME MINOR SCRATCHES.
