This is a BAD BAD fly for big stripers!  These are tied on a big 3/0 saltwater hook and are over 6" long.  They have incredible action in the water and the big stripers just can't leave em' alone.  We've caught giant stripers on the lower Sabine River in SE Texas in February-March on these and on Lake Texoma in the spring and summer.  My customer friends from Chesapeake and north also use and reorder them.  They are so time consuming to tie and I ran out last year by March.
