This is a gorgeous silver leaf double pedestal dining table in the Italian or French taste. Silver leaf is genuine silver, not to be confused with a painted finish. Look at the incredible glamour and romance that only silver leaf (or gold leaf for that matter) can create. This lustrous pair of extremely heavy stone or dense carved plaster urns can be considered either French or Italian in design, but work beautifully with the matching set of six French silver leaf dining chairs I have listed separately. The heavy and thick glass top is in excellent condition with a few very minor, almost invisible scratches but nothing signifigant and the bases can be placed at any distance apart from one another as desired. They are in excellent condition and have no damage, chips or scratches and are absolutely gorgeous. The table dates to the 1950s or 60s. The top measures 65L X 42W and with the top in place the table is 29 inches tall. Because of the heft and strength of the bases a 12 foot long glass top could also be supported or any size in between 65 and 144 inches. The pedestal bases are each 20w X 20D at their widest and 16w X 16D at their narrowest and 28 inches tall.
