Report itemUp for auction is a beautiful vintage mid century modern lucite and abalone shell pieces round trivet/ hot plate made by Betty's Shells with the help of nature. Trivet measures 5-1/2" in diameter with three ball feet and sits 5/8" up from surface. Lovely solid black back ground highlights each shell piece. In good condition, light overall wear and light scratches. No dings, dents, repairs or stains. Original paper label reads "TRIVET (HOT PLATE) handmade with Abalone Shells taken by Divers from the Ocean. Made by Craftsman of Betty's Shells, with the Help of Nature".
