1964 Marvel #2 Fantastic Four Annual - Dr. Doom - WOW!!

This auction offers the chance to bid on a NICE September 1964 Marvel Comics #2 Fantastic Four Annual - "Origin of Dr. Doom!"

This early issue would likely grade in the Very Good (VG) range, possibly higher.

The still-supple paper shows light toning and edge wear, plus a few spots of surface wear and a light area of discoloration at the top of the outside egde on the front cover. There is also tape on the two corners and top and bottom of the spine (although they do not appear to be for repair purposes).

The spine is strong, with only a few spots of light feathering, and the back cover has a few small discolored areas.

The interior is crisp and intact, but there is toning and a few unobtrusive tape repairs on bottom edge tears.

There is also a slight musty odor associated with this issue.

All in all, this EARLY Fantastic Four issue is in GREAT SHAPE, and would make a FANTASTIC addition to any Marvel or vintage comic book collection!
