This sale is for a superb collection of vintage editions entitled “The Skating Times,” Incorporating “The Ice Hockey News,” “The Ski Times,” and “The Roller Skater,” edited by George Graham, with numerous wonderful vintage photographic and other illustrations.

It was published by Olympic Publications, Ltd., of London, from March 1939 to May 1939 and October 1939 to May-June 1940 and Vol XI, April 1948.  There are TWELVE issues from the pre-Second World War, early Second World War plus the 1948 edition in this big hardback binder.

·        Vol. 10, No. 1 – October, 1939 (Part of Back Cover Has Been Cut Away)

·        Vol. 10, No. 5 – February, 1940

·        Vol. 10, No. 6 – March, 1940

·        Vol. 10, No. 8 – May-June, 1940

·        Vol. 11, No. 8 – April, 1948

The hardback binder measures 11.25 inches x 9.25 inches x 1.25 inches.

The magazines and binder are in generally very good condition for softback’s of their age, having been largely protected by the binder.  The 1948 edition is slightly bigger than the others and the bottom is worn/bumped.  One has a piece/coupon neatly cut off at the bottom of the back cover but the read is unaffected. The solid hardback binder is grubby/blemished. 

A wonderful collection of vintage TWELVE editions, very heavy.
