Notice that my starting bids are phenomenally low even on rare items. I will do this as often as I can so that everybody can get in on the bidding, regardless of rich or poor. Thank you to all my regular bidders who made last year's fall and Christmas push another great one. I'll reward you all the best way that I can- with unique, vintage items at low, low starting prices all year.

Here we go with a few more vintage and collectable items, mostly from that large, old estate. As most of you know by now, they were all obtained by an old family of collectors from New Jersey who had train, toy, stamp, cap gun, coin collecting, letter writing to celebrities for autographs, hoarding, and MOST other forms of collecting as their hobby since the mid 1930's on. I'll try posting as many as I can during the summer, but will really go to town in the fall and winter. All are guaranteed as pictured or described to the best of my ability; if you feel they were not, you have a week to return it after notifying me first. We usually get compliments that our items were better than described, and that they were packaged much better than people had hoped.

An antique, circa 1880's family Leather Bible Bible. The Holy Bible, containing the Old and New testaments, together with the Apocrypha: translated out of the original tongues, and with the former translations diligently compared and revised. To which is appended, a Concordance, the Psalms of David in Metre, an index, tables, and other useful matters. The text conformable to the standard of the American Bible Society. Philidephia L P. Gallagher. This very old Bible contains so many beautiful steel engraving illustrations. Unfortunately, both worn covers are detached, each with a few pages attached on either end. The cover on the spine is half attached and missing pieces. It has a beautiful and still functional gold clasp to keep it tight. All the edges were gilt, but the gilt has faded. There is some yellowing and age stains throughout. There is a lot of Gardinier family history, and photos, including tintypes. This book measures 9-1/2” by 12” by 3-2/8” high.
