Twining in lavish arabesques, ivy sends delicate tendrils and leaves in every direction. The lavish designs are embossed on burnished leather to grace an extraordinary trunk or hope chest. Oscar Pastor crafts the piece by hand of Andean tornillo wood, and he covers the exterior surfaces with colorful, gilded motifs. The chest features a wrought iron clasp.
